Ho Chi Minh City and Cu Chi Tunnels

You will be welcomed by your local representative dockside at the port.
You will begin your full day exploration of Ho Chi Minh City and discover what makes this city special. Begin with a city tour of vibrant Saigon including a visit to the grand Reunification Hall, formerly known as the Presidential Palace. This important modern building will always be recognized from the iconic images of North Vietnamese tanks rolling into Saigon on the morning of April 30, 1975 as the city fell. This fascinating building is extremely important in the sensitive history of Vietnam. The city tour will also take you to the incredible Old Post Office, the stunning Notre Dame Cathedral and the lovely Jade Emperor Pagoda.
After your city tour you will have a break for lunch.
Following lunch you will visit the Cu Chi tunnels, a Byzantine maze of underground passages, chambers, rooms and booby traps expertly used by the Viet Cong to gain a tremendous advantage during Vietnamese battles.
After visiting this important and fascinating part of Vietnamese history you will return to the port.
